Desiree Watkins is an Associate Attorney at Sanchez Law Firm, where she brings a caring, tenacious, and ambitious approach to serving clients and navigating complex legal matters. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Government from The University of Texas at Austin and later received her Juris Doctor from Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Desiree was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar in April 2026 and is currently pending admission in Texas.
Outside of the legal profession, Desiree is passionate about education and believes strongly in the importance of lifelong learning for both students and adults. She enjoys staying active through volleyball, basketball, boxing, and exercise, as well as watching college football and basketball. A proud Houston sports fan, she enthusiastically supports the Texans, Astros, and Rockets—and is already looking forward to the return of the Houston Comets. Desiree also enjoys classic films, traveling to Colorado, and celebrating Christmas with family and friends. One of her favorite literary works is Invictus by William Ernest Henley, a poem that reflects the resilience and determination she brings to both her personal and professional life.
