Michael has a love for animals and nature. After graduating from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences, he began his career as a technician in animal sciences. In that role, he was involved in legal cases concerning animals and became increasingly interested in the law. Michael then attended Texas A&M University School of Law. While there, he participated in an animal clinic. Upon becoming a licensed attorney in October of 2024, Michael briefly practiced criminal defense in downtown Houston. In the world of criminal defense, Michael saw the needs of people in everyday life, including evictions, contracts, and personal injury and thus became interested in helping people in the civil context. Michael joined Sanchez Law Firm in February of 2025. Michael enjoys helping people facing problems as consumers, homeowners, tenants, and small business owners in Texas.
In his spare time, Michael spends time with his fiancée and his dog. He loves to catch bass and catfish, hike, and explore national forests and parks. He plays in adult softball leagues to keep his competitive spirit alive outside the law firm. He looks forward to visiting Alaska and New Zealand in the future.
